Being a clinical psychology student in france I am schocked by the dogmatism that exist in my research field. For example we are being taught that thumb sucking is present only in the "Child of Man" behaviour, also that apes do not have any culture which is entirely false. I am having a great deal of relational problems with the scholars just because I tend to contradict them on many subjects related to the non-specificity of human behaviour.
